As long as you guys don't try to find out what Taiping actually is (it's a town by the way) you will keep wondering and posing the same question to me. So today I'll be nice and let you guys know.

This is the sign that you'll see once you reach Taiping. Obviously.
One of the streets in Taiping. I googled.
Chung was born in Taiping before he went to reside in Penang.
He was a wealthy tin miner and rubber planter.
Never mind the details, lol.
One of Taiping's famous cendol shops. Another one is Bismillah.
Ansari is just opposite my mom's office, lol.
One of the old buildings in old town.
My mom used to buy rojak from one of the stalls here.

I think I've been here quite a number of times.
Once I almost drowned :/
Our humble 2 and a half stars hotel, lol.
Even till now, my friends and I like to go up the sky bar.
Because there's a great view of Lake Garden's from above.
This is old town.
Ex-schoolmates and I used to roam around town doing nothing,
maybe got ice-cream at the old mcdonald's before the outlet was relocated to Sentral.
Yes, my childhood was that simple.
Taiping Lake Garden's.
Nothing to say much about it.
Great place for jogging though.
It's the first museum in Malaysia.
So you're saying, "So what wor if it's the first?"
Well, just saying ma.
The famous elephant skull in le museum.
I read somewhere this elephant derailed an oncoming train at full speed.
Something like that :/
Yes, this is a village.
But it is a beautiful village.
The first zoo in Malaysia.
The first night safari in Malaysia.
All Saints Church.
First church in Malaysia.
(Was involved with arson attack )
First prison in Malaysia.
I hate this road because it reminds me of my driving test,
which I failed the first time -_-
Lots of good food here.
I usually come here to eat kaya toast :/
I would call it "just some place I go to when I feel like watching a movie".
That's pretty much the popular sites/landmarks in Taiping. By the way, we didn't have a proper shopping mall until 2008, which was during my SPM year. What we had though, was Tesco and Giant while Econsave came much later. Some of you are pretty surprised that we managed to survive without a "proper" hang out place, but yeah I would tell you this, we didn't feel anything. School kept us busy. And McDonald's Sundae Cone was enough as a treat after a stressful day.
There's a huge chance that even after you read this, you would still insist that Taiping is boring and that you would somehow die if you were ever born in this place.
I love Taiping and how I wish you could see the beauty of it through my eyes. But never mind la.
