The Bus Stop Theory

the first thing you should notice is the distance between the bus stop and where the bus stops. due to my lousy depiction, it would seem like the whole scenario is exaggerated (yes i know the heads are too HUGE to be real). even though, sometimes, the bus driver tries to be funny and stops the bus before the bus stand. but it's also because students tend to go crazy and start to crowd around the center of the bus stop when they see the bus coming. this leaves the bus driver with no choice but to park at the far end of the stop to avoid knocking people over.

morning buses fill up quickly, so either you get your ass in the bus or you don't and be late for class. the worst thing is to miss the last bus which arrives at 7.45 cos' the next bus would only come at 8.10. by 7.35, you can see the latecomers dragging their feet to the bus stop with that kinda look that tells you how late they've stayed up last night watching K-dramas. if you are someone who depends on the bus to get you to campus, like me, these are the types of people that you should have taken notice by now;

the first type of passengers you often encounter will be the Pushers.

Pushers: people who don't give a fuck who's in front of them. their main goal is to push themselves to the front and ultimately, the entrance of the bus. Pushers are extremely dangerous passengers. they can inflict severe compression of the human body- The Sardine Theory- and subsequently, internal injuries to other passengers. Pushers need to get on the bus within 20 seconds of shoving or they will lose patience and go batshit. when that happens, lives would be lost... ok not. in a nutshell, Pushers should be avoided at all times and costs.

The Lost Ones: submissive type of passengers who lack a sense of direction and concentration. it doesn't matter where they stand; inches away from the bus entrance or somewhere at the back of the crowd. The Lost Ones just stay put and let themselves be shoved around by the wave of other passengers. fortunately, The Lost Ones usually have Pullers as friends.

Pullers: extremely rare and are what Pushers evolve from. Pullers are saints who help people get back on track. when the crowd becomes overwhelming, Pullers help to pull you back to the right direction: the entrance to the bus, and in the process, sacrifice their own chance of boarding the bus. Pullers tend to be sympathetic towards The Lost Ones. again, Pullers are known to be going extinct and their species are gradually being replaced by Pushers.

Wise-Asses: the generally smart ones who come up with ingenious ways to gain entry into the bus instead of indulging in barbaric acts like the Pushers. Wise-Asses are quick-witted and some may say, cunning. they know when to stop and let the Pushers do the clearing-out job and when to strike when a tiny space gives way. regardless of it all, Wise Asses are people who usually, if not always, score a place in the bus.

The Screamer: the one who does nothing but stand there and scream for dear life.

The Stoner: person who lost control of body movement for mysterious reasons. bored expression on face, lack the enthusiasm to fight for a place on the bus. closely related to The Lost Ones. could be relatives.

The Cowards: people who have evolved from the Stoner. they are those who realize the stupidity and the uncivilized nature of going at each other for a place in a bus that takes you to the class in which you sleep through every morning. prefers to take the later bus. Cowards are secret geniuses and future politicians.

lol i'm not afraid to admit that i'm a Wise-Ass and sometimes, a Pusher in certain circumstances. i absolutely hate Screamers. and Stoners should go get their own car or something cos' their presence is just unnecessary :/
